WS Type I Dynamic Scrubbers

The WS Scrubbers incorporate a wet fan to overcome system losses and a separator.  With the WS(I) the particulate stream is pulled through the fan inlet where the scrubbing liquid is introduced at the center of the fan wheel causing complete wetting of al internal fan surfaces.  Particulate is then captured by impaction on the wetted fan blades as well as internal mixing of the gases, liquid, and particles.  The collected material then enters tangentially into a separator where cyclonic action separates the water from the gas stream.  The WS(I) is generally for the 3 - 6 micron range applications
